$30 sends a first-quality Study bible to someone on our Bible waiting list of 2,000 inmates. Become a monthly sponsor of a new prisoner every 30 days or give a One-Time donation to help our ministry send much-requested Study Bibles into prisons.
“The jailer called for lights, rushed in, and fell trembling before Paul and Silas…and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house…then immediately he and all his family were baptized.”
Your monthly sponsorship allows us to send a bible to a new prisoner on our waiting list every 30 days. The bibles cost us $22 to buy wholesale from our ministry partner and then $8 to package, label and ship. So your $30 gift directly covers a new Study Bible every month.
Fill out our donation form and become a monthly partner at whatever amount you’d like to give. Your tax-deductible contribution of just $30 a month connects an incarcerated prisoner with a brand new, high-quality study bible.
On a monthly basis, our volunteers get together to source, package, ship, and ensure the delivery of a bible to a prisoner on our waiting list of 2,000 inmates. Watch a 220 Bible Packing here. We just received a $10,000 donation. We are ordering 500 Bibles now. It costs about $8 to pack, label, and mail each of these Bibles. Will you help us make a prisoner’s day and life? Give now
The bibles go through rigorous security and into the hands of an awaiting prisoner. We stay in contact with the prisoner and help them grow in their faith.
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy” Proverbs 13:12 NIV
“On this day, I had simply asked for prayer for pain throughout the left side of my back. As she began to pray, she suddenly stopped in mid-sentence and said, “Oh my, you’re suffering from deferred hope.” I thought, “What is deferred hope?” Then calmly, yet with noticeable authority, she spoke directly to the problem, “Deferred hope, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I break you off my brother’s life right now and order you not to return to him again. Instantly I was delivered! The pain in my back left simultaneously. It was miraculous.”
I was placed in the AR prison system for selling meth. I was crushed and very depressed. The thought of being away from my family, especially around the holidays, was a lot to bare. The first month of intake, you are in a single man cell in complete solitude. The only reading material allowed is a Bible. As I started reading, something drove me to focus on the New Testament. Being Christmas, it felt right to have a better understanding of Jesus. It ended up being the best Christmas I have ever had because I spent it with Jesus, just me and him. It was the first time in my life that I could hear God speaking to my heart, and I’ve had Him there ever since.
I came about your address on one of the papers which I picked up from the trash can while scrambling for a piece of paper to use in a communal toilet within the prison premises. As I was using the toilet, I read through the tract which had the title “No One Goes to Hell by Accident.” This heading was like a knock on my heart. The testimonies and the explanations of the bible verses given and the stories made me not to waste that piece of paper and I was prompted to take up this hopeful task of writing to you. If you’re writing is so encouraging and brain opening, especially for prisoners like me, sentenced to death by hanging until pronounced the dead by a certified Doctor. It’s a sentence one lives a day at a time!
This Bible will be the only gift or piece of mail they receive this year some inmates. You cannot imagine the joy you bring a man or a woman when they receive their Bible.
I wanted to let you know I received my beautiful Bible. Thank you so much for your faithfulness to all of us incarcerated. As Jesus said in Matthew 25, In as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me. May God continue to bless all of you at HEART of America as you continue to reach out and touch the world with the love of Jesus.
It begin to thank you for this beautiful Bible. I love it! And I really love the historical notes and the way it is illustrated through and through. This may sound crazy, but I think it means more to me because of the wait. I don’t know, but it seems almost like I grew into it. Please let the people whose donations and time were spent making this possible know that I really appreciate it and that I will be adding them to my prayer list. I hope one day to be able to help someone the way you have helped me, not only with this Bible, but also with your letters over the years. You have given me a great gift.
