Each fall, volunteers all over the United States commit to sending messages of hope to prisoners through our Annual Christmas Card Campaign. It’s very simple. We ask each volunteer to commit to writing and mailing hand-signed cards to people incarcerated during the holidays. We provide the address and return address labels – volunteers supply the cards, stamps, and a heartfelt message. All mail uses the ministry’s return address to keep volunteers’ information confidential.
Thank you so much for participating in the Annual Christmas Card Campaign. Through our cooperative efforts, we will have the opportunity to touch the lives of isolated prisoners simply by sharing the love of Jesus. The holiday season can be a particularly challenging time for inmates. Many have no contact with friends or family. The message you write in your Christmas card can be a connection to the family of Christ. During this time, incarcerated persons feel most broken and are more receptive to the message of redemption and the love of Jesus Christ.
